I can't find much here for sample images taken with the 16-85, and that was all attempts with the defunct search setup here.

It would be nice to have an image archive thread for all lenses, lets start the 16-85 here!

Great series of shots. It goes to show that it's the photographer that makes the shot, and not expensive gear! Well done on a wonderful series.

Great series indeed. I have not paid much attention to the 16-85mm but I did read the PHotozone.de review and they liked it pretty well. 16-85 is a good range for me, hmmm...

Because I can see bending across the frame, not just the edges.

Well, I did shoot a little over the weekend with it, Just did not have a chance to upload to my pc yet.. But here are a few Shots I took in the camera shop while I was testing it out.. These shot were only size adjusted with the Crops inserted.. No sharpening, Lvls, Curves, etc..

I'm not sure, actually. It is at 16mm. I feel there is a bit of distortion at the wide end, but that is to be expected, isn't it? I'm a hopeless amatur as well, so tecnique/skill is probably lacking quite a bit.

P.S. I like both of your shots. Kudos on the lighting, it takes a good eye to know when the lighting is optimal to start shooting.
