Very old photo - the hair is real!

Setting: Kentucky Horse Park. 1986 Goldwing "Beige" (Mauve), same color and year bike as Tim's (post before mine).

"Eh?" (after a ride with several HD's - LOL!). After bumping the displacement, carb, ignition, and cam to HD Stage III, the "thunder" is deeper and louder.

Thanks, Walt. It is a lot of fun.

Know what you mean about noise, had a good time at Myrtle Beach, during bike week. I've rode mine up to Vermont, got stuck in 4 oclock traffic in DC. Talk about harley clutch arm:frown: I was glad to get out of there.

Walt,

I really miss the hydraulic clutch from my days owning a Honda! One of these days I plan to install the EZ clutch. Parades can get painful if there is a lot of stop and go. I feel for you in stop and go DC traffic!

John, the AIM VPC clutch is a great setup and at low RPM (such as parades and at idle) the clutch pull is almost nothing. I use one on my 106" FLHT and my buddy has one in his 124" Dyna.

Greg,
Years ago a neighbor of mine was a writer for a bike magazine and was "given" a R1200RT to evaluate for 6 months to write an article on. He went to South Carolina to pick it up and then on a 3600 mile "Iron Butt" ride in 70 hrs. with a bunch of other journalists. After that he was burnt out on riding ..... for a little while at least.
