Your Best Picture for 2005

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by beaucamera, Dec 28, 2005.

  1. I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we could post a best picture for 2005. So, search through those hard drives, please, and show us what you think is your best.

    Let the great ones roll!

  4. Not my best, but I love it, because it's my little sweetheart.

  5. This is my favorite from 2005 -- don't know if I have any yet I'd call "best"!! I just loved the golden light the day I was shooting this one. (Resized for web, so lettering a bit small.)

I went to a lot of cool places in 2005, and captured tons of great images. My favorite is one I took at the very beginning of the year...

    I Believe I Can Fly!!!

This is going to be a fabulous thread, thanks for starting it Virginia. I am posting this image...I shot this on a whim but I like how the chains bisect the frame with the ferris wheel in the background. I was pleased to capture the girl's emotion the way that I did and I was fortunate how the DOF enhances the overall image. I have learned plenty from all of you since May and the learning continues.

    Maybe not the best

I don't think this is the prettiest picture that I made in 2005 but it has always stuck in my mind. [IMG]
  12. One of my favorites from this year

Still not sure I've cropped it to best advantage, though.

This one is in my top 3 for the year. I do have some technically better shots and some fairly decent wildlife shots that I like but its the family pictures that I cherish the most. Capturing my childrens' emotions is about as good as it gets.

I hope that 2006 is great photographically for everyone.

  18. My favorite

Not sure if it is the best, but it is my favorite. My husband looking at the view at Dead Horse State Park in Utah.

I've loved looking at all of yours. Hope everyone keeps them coming.
