Youth baseball (2 pics)

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by Peter G, Jun 25, 2007.

  1. Just got back from my son's baseball tourney. Needed to eat up some innings and he got some mound time. First time on the hill since LL and usually at 2B. Pretty funny really as he thumbed his way through a few innings and kept them off balance.

Nice shots Peter...you must have been proud!

  3. Thanks Dave. Kinda funny really seeing him on the hill. Team needed to save arms and needed an inning eater . He got a chuckle out of it too

Thanks again for taking the time to comment
  4. Pretty cool story and great shots
  5. Thanks Dave. His Mom liked them too

Peter these are really good considering what looks like some tough light..Those white uniforms are so hard to deal with and you did a great job.

Real nice job Pete, handling those white jerseys is exceptionally tough in harsh sunlight. I like these alot.

Good for him! That's a tough spot to be in...I coached long enough to see some of my girls fall apart when you put them up on stage like that....

Great captures Peter.....but gee, they seem, well, I dunno...out of focus maybe? :)
  9. Thanks Rod. High-noon sun and tough conditions. Agree, the unis are not my favs
    Thanks Frank. Much appreciated.

His coach from last year would've never run him out there, but thank gawd yours truly has retired from the dugout. Really one of those fluke outings and his coach needed someone to eat up a few innings. His buddies got a chuckle out of it too.

Focus? My camera doesn't come with a focus button

Thanks for the comments pal
  10. super shots !
