z6 flower symbol in display .

when close focusing i get a flower symbol every so often in the display but i see no reference in the manual to it ... sometime i will manually focus on flowers with the 24-70 and every so often see it .. i know it is showing close focus but what exactly generates this and why no such symbol listed in the manual ?

In the view finder ...it is next to a focusing scale that displays

The camera uses two symbols for the focusing scale. The flower is for max closeness and the other is the infinity loop

got it … I knew what it meant but when you look up all the icons on the pages that show what is displayed the flower one is not shown .. they do show it on page 60 though as you pointed out .
