Z7 - My First Few Images and some AF thoughts

I am a very proud Z7 owner, I have said in other posts that I don't shoot wildlife or sport so have no worries about AF on that score, I have just returned from a few days in Rome and can report that the Z7 / 24-70 zoom combination worked brilliantly. I am finding that I am able to handhold the camera at low shutter speeds and still get nice sharp images, something that I could never do with my D750. A quick tally up of what lenses I used on the trip shows that the 'kit' zoom was on the camera for 85% of the shots with the 16-35 picking up the rest my 70-200 wasn't used at all.

My only issue is that I don't have a 'standard' prime lens for those occasions where some nice shallow DOF would be useful as everything I have is f4, what are people's thoughts on the Z35mm and Z50mm lenses, I hear that the 50mm is very sharp but I haven't read much on the 35mm, if anyone has any feedback/comment on these two f1.8 lenses it would be very welcome. Thanks.

The Z primes are sharp and I find the 35/1.8S a great performer. Others on this forum have used the Nikon f-mount FX equivalent lenses with good success and appreciate their price to performance.

I'm currently still using the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G and have no reason at this time to upgrade to the native Z equivalent.

So there are options, just depends on how deep the pockets go and if you want native mount options or if you are good with an FTZ adapted f-mount equivalent.
