From time to time, I like to use a bit of fill flash when shooting outside. It seems that as soon as I turn on my flash (SB-910), The actual exposure is no longer showing in live view. No matter where I've looked, I can't find a way to override this - Is there something I'm missing?

You can’t use “silent mode shutter” check page 611 in reference manual.
Also try setting to “mechanical” shutter, not electronic. My SB500 is fine with these settings and I have used the SB910 as well.

Hi Dave - I noticed this “feature” too when I first attempted flash on my Z6. I decided to turn off apply settings to live view, when I heard that would improve focus acquisition. The settings on is nice to have, but you can still check the histogram for exposure without it. I made this a toggle in the My Menu to use when needed.
