do you mind to share also some 180/4 shots? It's a very rare lens and I saw there's no thread about it...

Thanks.

Sure, here are some:

Excellent photos Phil. I caught some of your other work on FM too. How did you get so many great photos without people milling around?

Thanks Matt - the areas on the internal shots are cordoned off, and today wasn't quite as busy as my first visit but there were lots of very inconsiderate tourists getting in the way, everywhere!

Looks like Tom picked up one in the last week. I think he's planning on posting his thoughts/images once he has a chance to put it to some use. He also shoots with a 24G, so I know there's a few of us that would be interested in a comparison by someone that owns both.

In the website I linked in my previous post, there is the test of 24G (on D3X).
I have to admit that I was more favorably impressed by the Distagon's pictures, and they were taken by using a 5D Mk II ...
Anyway, everybody can look at the pictures and draw his/her own conclusions.
I think that one should decide about 24G or 25/2 on the basis of AF, or if one needs f/1.4 (also to blur more the background). Both are very good lenses.

I haven't had much chance to use the 25/2 yet, other than for some test shots in the backyard. When I have something, I'll post it. From what I have seen so far, it looks significantly better than the already superb 24G in most areas, something I hadn't thought was possible.

This implies that it's even better than the 21 ...

I've got a question on these Zeiss lenses. On the ZF2 model all functions of the camera work as if it was no different than a current Nikon lens right (minus focus obviously)? But on the ZF1 only S and M modes work and the lens has to be programed in correct?
