Zoo photography is look down upon by many wildlife shooters. However, one has to wonder what these captured animals who are acclimatized to us homo sapiens are thinking when they see us. You should always number the shots when posting more than three for easier reference.

Very nice set of images. I like the eye contact in so many of these photographs.

I love shooting at the zoo. I certainly can't be going on African safaris all the time. So, the zoo offers me an opportunity to practice photography in a nearby location. Our zoo, the Brookfield Zoo, welcome photographers--which makes it a very pleasant place to go for shooting.

Thank you ladies and gentleman for the kind compliment. All of these images were taken over multiple visits to the Bronx Zoo with my D100 and D200 and a nikkor 70-200 & TC1.4 when necessary.

Just wanted to share some of my animal photos since I am so type casted as panorama guy
