Hi, Pics look great, but what settings did you use to achieve them?

Cheers

The D200 has some of the best flash exposures and colors out of camera that I have seen! iTTL seems to work even better on this camera then other cameras, and for the price it's the best bargain out there! Here are two examples I took last night of actress Brittany Murphy. It was shot with a D200, 17-55 DX, and SB-800 flash. In my opinion the D200 is the perfect night flash camera to date!

D200/new user - any help appreciated

Jonathan, any tech info would be of help, since I am just getting my camera today. Any hints on the built-in flash, or do I have to get the SB-800?

Nice pic,BTW. I have no idea who she is, but exposure is sure good!

Your exif data

Jonathan,
thanks for sharing.

Could you a bit explain your ICC settings? May be I've missed something, but they don't look like a standard ICC profile.

Thank you,
Andy

Totally Agree

I also shoot a lot of flash and am amazed at the quality of the pics. Although your subject matter is much more appealing and you definitely do her justice.

Do I have to have SB-800 for this kind of results, or will the 'old' SB-26 do just as well in the manual mode? How about a big ol' Vivitar?
