Has anyone seen a proper test of the D200's dynamic range?

Just curious because I am getting an impression that it may be as good at the D50, which has tested as one of the best.

I keep getting shots like this one. Late afternoon and overcast, but still, I think pretty amazing. 35 f2, ISO 800, at f2.

I was thinking I wasn't crazy about auto WB in artificial light, but that has turned out to be rare.

Just love the colors in the mixed lighting in that shot. Colors are what "made" me buy this camera.

I've found AWB in artificial light to be the best i've ever encountered personally, and i've noticed my DR is ridiculously good
My d70 doesn't compare....the fact that I NOTICED says a lot since I never paid much attention to DR.

We have one hanging lamp that uses small flame-shaped bulbs that causes an orange cast with auto WB, and I have yet to see a camera handle those flourescent replacement bulbs well.

Otherwise, it hasn't messed up all.

The weather here (as in most of Europe) has been truly awful lately but, as soon as it breaks, I intend to reshoot some landscapes I shot with my D70 to test this point definitively.

I too have a suspicion that the D200's dynamic range is somewhat greater than the D70.
