Well, I sure bombed out on that one! Sheesh! My first word gave me two letters, but then everything else I tried missed the mark....frustrating! By the time I got to a letter which would've helped it was too late.

You got 2 letters with your first guess. Why didn't you use them in words 2,3 and 4?

This was one of the few times that my strategy of starting out with a word with mostly vowels first and then for the second word using one which was mostly consonants failed me big-time.....
But why abandon two known letters? Subsequent words can contain different consonants, but the same vowels. Just trying to understand.....

There are a variety of strategies. Sometimes if you have already identified two letters it can be helpful to use those two slots to try to more quickly identify the other letters.

Interesting. It would seem to be more expedient to start focusing on words with the 2 known letters...than to ignore them. To each his own...! :D

You know those two letters...so you can keep them in mind as you proceed. One issue is that it means it will be impossible to guess the work on that move. I've been keeping the two known letters and then trying to make sure I identify which slot they belong in.

I’m not as good at this as some of you. Guess it’s time to try a new strategy. I have been starting with adieu and then using story as a second word.
