Apartment For Rent - agree, very nice lighting. Are those bullet holes in the siding????

The Touch - I thought I commented on this one, must not have hit "post". I really like it. Your photos are so versatile. And the sepia of the Dakota is wonderful. I like that treatment a lot. Where's her teeth I wonder?

High School Graduation at ISO3200 looks way better than what I get at that ISO. I get a lot of grain even with my D300.
Birgit,

Thanks for commenting.

You have a very good eye! I didn't notice the holes in the wall of Apartment for Rent until you pointed them out.

Dakota does have teeth. At least the bottom ones show in this photo:

I've been very pleased with the high ISO performance of the D700. I try not to shoot at ISO 3200, but sometimes it's that or nothing!

Glenn, you lighten my day with your wonderful pictures. I never know when I open your thread what subject you'll focus on (that's a pun) :)

The Dakota shots are great and I appreciate them very much because I'm a dog lover. We have three Shih Tzu dogs...and I must use them as subjects soon.

Also, I have the NIK frames. I think you use them also. Is the frame for the first Dakota picture from those NIK frames? I haven't run across it yet and am curious.

Many thanks for all your inspiring pictures.

Thank you Gaye...

The frame you mentioned is from the Photo Frame 4 plug-in.

Thanks very much, Glenn. I had #4 but really hadn't looked at it much...I continued to use #3 because that's what I know...so will investigate now.
Thanks again!

Dog in Flight looks good, Glenn! I must have once shot his cousin in an agility competition in this corner of the world - same goofy expression and floppy right ear.

Glenn, that Dog-in-flight shot is amazing! Best in show, yes? :D I've tried to get a shot like that of my lab/pointer mix (Cooper), but he's so fast he's all over me before I can hit the shutter release.....

Thanks...

I started his running path quite some distance from the camera. That gave me a chance to lock in on him and hold focus for a longer period of time. My sister-in-law was standing behind me with one of his favorite toys. We repeated that running sequence three of four times before I captured this shot. I also have several other poses as part of the series.

Oh my gosh, I love Dog in Flight. I'm LOL. What a crazed look! Hey, and you nailed the focus even with him flying like superman.

You've outdone yourself, Glenn. Dog in Flight is absolutely fabulous. Maybe you should quit the thread right now, cause you'll have a hard time topping that one.
