I was driving around the area last night and pulled over by the bridge to capture a few photos during the twilight.

I'm not certain what is in its throat. I usually don't see very many egrets in this area. There were about 40 of them out there today. I think I'll return tomorrow morning for some more shots in the early morning light.

Great shot of the flying egret. The lighting looks to be very nice, I don't see any blown out whites on my laptop. Nice shot to happen on your morning commute.

I will have to brave the black bear and take a look in our local park lake for our Egret.

I had never seen egrets here in the Chicago suburbs. I'm told that it is one more sign of global warming that these birds have migrated so far north. There aren't any black bear in Cook County!
