thank you Morten. I am still very nervous doing B&W. Still have a lot to learnCool shot Felix... Nice bw pp too
Thank you Bart . Appreciated.A striking image in b&w, Felix!![]()
Thanks Mike. Very much appreciatedGreat eye! Wonderful composition!
Thank you Gary. I am by nature a bit of an adventurer and will look for “different”. And yes I am learning that the black and white image makes you stop and think a little more about what is in front of you in as you say graphics, composition and shadow. I am really enjoying the journey and hope to be able to post more b&w going forwardFirst shot is a great composition.
Plus, it shows you actually walked around the subject and saw it in ways most people never see. Many people think photography is just about where you stand-- you found a great spot there.
Don't be afraid of b/w. You don't have color to support the image-- so you only have graphics, composition, shadow. It will come.
There are a million ways to convert you b/w. Find one or two that work for you.
Good luck with your journey.

Thank you Eric. Very good adviceExcellent, Felix! Your B&W photo reminds me of some good advice I'd been given long ago when I was just starting out, which was to "work the scene"; you clearly did that to great advantage here . . .
Not that I always do that, but yep! ;~)Thank you Eric. Very good advice
